Small account challenge, day 11
Another red day though fully recoverable. It was just a red open to the market.
First, my overnight play of $LC got pushed down pretty hard to 3.60 premarket and did not recover in the morning. I held on but the markets overall were red in the morning so I got out for a 4% loss. Interestingly enough, they recovered late in the afternoon and my pick went up. I wasn’t watching the market or playing it, instead I decided to stay in cash for the weekend.
Then, my swing play $SEED hit my stop loss of 0.843. it bounced right back up but I wasn’t watching it. I probably would have added to my position and averaged down as I think this is a good swing for a couple days and it ended in a good pattern. Small loss, I had a tight stop on it.
So, ended the day -$43.12 which isn’t horrible but overall this week has sucked. Mostly because of working and not being able to watch stocks because there were some really good plays this week, several 40%+, that I knew about but couldn’t play. A lot of people made money shorting $TENX today and that was an obvious play.
